My bio:

Susan Kistin, MFT, has been a catalyst for personal change since the 1980’s. She invites inner revolutions for healing historic bruises of the psyche.

A varied background informs Susan’s work. She has 25 years of training and experience in various therapy approaches. Her specialties include somatic (body) based practices in which your body is a friend and ally in awareness and change. She is also an eco-therapist and wilderness guide of many years; with intention, the guidance in nature can reveal profound solutions for life. Susan also uses mindfulness meditation tools that reduce stress, depression and anxiety. And of course the power of the verbal exchange is key in untangling old painful stories and creating new life affirming ones!

Susan is also a Big Leap Coach with The Hendricks Institute and a Reverend of Walking Prayer with the Center for Sacred Studies. She uses all these approaches, and more, in ways that specifically support each individual person in their quest for a better life.
