ISP Professional Training

Integral Somatic Psychology™ (ISP™) can help improve diverse outcomes in all therapies through greater embodiment of emotions. ISP is a master training for experienced clinicians to increase clinical effectiveness through greater integration of body, energy, and consciousness into their work regardless of their primary therapeutic modality.

The Integral Somatic Psychology Professional Training, taught in three 4-day (or two 6-day) modules, offers a complementary approach to further improve physical, energetic, cognitive, affective, behavioral, relational, as well as spiritual outcomes in all therapeutic modalities through greater embodiment of different categories of emotions.

Module 1: The Physiology of Emotions
Module 2: The Physiology of Attachment
Module 3: The Physiology of Stress and Trauma

ISP training curriculum

ISP is the right course for you if you engage others in psychological work in any modality and would like to work with the physical body to some extent in your individual or group practice or teaching; as psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, counselors, coaches, body workers, energy workers, meditation or spiritual teachers.

ISP Testimonial

ISP was a very helpful addition to my training in Somatic Experiencing®. The emphasis on the bodily experience of emotions and how to work with them—recognize, experience deeply, and manage/regulate—was invaluable for my professional and personal growth.
— Kenneth Talan, MD, SEP, Child and Adult Psychiatrist
