Karen Ginsburg, LCSW, LMT, is a Somatic Psychotherapist working with adults and couples in New York City and Philadelphia. She holds a BFA in Acting from New York University’s Experimental Theater Wing and an MSW, also from New York University. She is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist, as well as a graduate of the Clinical Fellowship Program at the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy, the advanced training program in Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy at The Center for Somatic Studies, The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy and the Ohashi Institute for Shiatsu. She is currently in her first year of training in Somatic Experiencing.

She is an assistant to Dr. Ruella Frank in her Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy trainings and is Adjunct Faculty at the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia. She is continually inspired by her work as a Somatic Psychotherapist and the opportunities for growth, creativity and connection that it affords her and her clients.
