Biography:

I’m the founder, senior psychotherapist & trainer of Life Origin – Centre for Meditation & Healing Arts / Centre for Expressive & Somatic Psychotherapy in Hong Kong.

I’m a clinical member of USABP, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP®), Reg. Dance Therapist (BTD–German Professional Organization for Dance Therapists), Certified Dance Movement Therapist (EADMT–European Association Dance Movement Therapy), Certified NGH Instructor, Certified Massage Therapist, Registered Social Worker specialized in Mental Health.

I got the BSW, PgD (Mental Health), MSSC (Counseling – Distinction), the Primal Deconditioning Facilitator training certificate, Neo-Reichian Breathing & Body Work training certificate & Transomatic Dialogue Therapy training certificate. I had also completed three years Hakomi Therapy training, one-year Bioenergetic Therapy Training, AEDP, Emotionally Focused Therapy & the drama therapy core modules training. Since 1987, I started my professional study locally & other countries every year.

I have been working in family services, school social work, mental health field & emotional healing for 30 years. I’m the founding member of China Dance Movement Therapy Association, the creator of Mindfulness-based Arts Synergy (2008) & Somatic & Emotionally Focused Reconnection Therapy (2011).

In 2008, I wrote a book called Life Origin – A Therapist’s Inspiring Thoughts on Life & Healing Arts. I also wrote a chapter on “The use of dance & movement therapy in the inner child healing – Principles, techniques & methods” in one Dance Movement Therapy book (2017).
I received the Award of Distinguished Natural Medicine Professional (The 3rd World Conference of Natural Medicine, 2009) & made the presentation in the various conferences, leading workshops & training in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau & China.

The mission of Life Origin Centre is to promote the somatic & expressive psychotherapy, inner child healing, active meditation & different kinds of non-traditional healing arts, working the client with emotional issues (developmental & shock trauma), offering the training to helping professionals & integrate the “mindfulness” into the clinical practice in Hong Kong since 2008.
