Biography
Sherri Sharkins, MA, SEP – I have a masters degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I currently practice in Sedona AZ and Prescott AZ and offer sessions via video conferencing (Skype and Zoom sessions). I have been providing Somatic Experiencing (SE) sessions for 10 years, specializing in the treatment of complex and developmental trauma. I serve as an assistant teacher for the Somatic Experiencing Professional Training Program. I am also certified in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) and serve on the teaching team for NARM trainings. Lastly, I have studied Diane Poole Heller’s Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience (DARe). I have explored the mind-body connection for many years: I am a certified yoga teacher and have been practicing yoga and Vipassana meditation for 25 years. For the last six years, I have worked in addiction treatment centers as a primary therapist and trauma resolution specialist, treating clients suffering from complex trauma, chemical dependency, and gambling addiction.
